It just means not now, not yet or no. Imagine if as a young child you received everything you ever asked for. You'd be spoiled and might have terrible health issues. A parent is a lot like God.

Sometimes they give you these answers because they know what's best for you. Sometimes God says, "No" because he's trying to protect you or grow you or strengthen you. That's when he needs you to trust in him and not in what you see or in yourself. God is real. All he wants from you is to seek him out and trust him. Sometimes that's the hardest part. But we dont spend our lives worried about whether or not we are wrong if there isn't enough evidence to clearly support that possibility.
