The university is in the city centre which makes it great to access and get around. The campus is spread out across the city however which can make it difficult if you have a lesson in a different building straight after another.

All services are student experience focused and I have always felt supported.

Great facilities, great staff, perfect location. I love it! We are happy to hear that you have always felt supported and love your time at Sheffield Hallam. I didn't use much of the service, so I cannot make a score at those with three star. Literally, the management of course structure still needed to be improved. The administration team response slow, which I understand in this Covid situation.

However, several time the team spell my other classmate name wrongly and leading her suffered to open bank account and even access to blackboard site during the first month of studying. It was such a horrible experience. We are sorry to hear you have not enjoyed your experience. They have good facilities at both campuses and have friendly staff that help when you need it. University has allowed me to continue with my next level of education as this year I complete my BA Hons English Language degree. The university is very good and provides a lot of amazing courses to go on. I enjoyed my 3 years at hallam meeting a variety of new people on my course. The best University an international student could ever wish for!!!

Literally, 2mins walk from the Sheffield Train Station. Overall, I would without doubt recommend aspiring students to come and see Sheffield Hallam University as they have spent tens of millions renovating and improving their facilities. We know that covid has impacted the university experience for many of our students. We do keep our website updated with the latest news regarding the Covid response and are working within the government guidance for this. University is ok. Sports facilities are decent. We also have student support available, Hallam Help is your starting point for accessing support, advice and guidance online, and you can also still book in person appointments for our two Hallam Help points on campus, which are in Collegiate and Adsetts libraries. These services can help you manage your studies and make the most of university life. Our online self help service Togetherall , is free for students at Hallam. You can log in with your student email address. If any of our students need to self-isolate, we have information on how to self-isolate and the support available during self-isolation. Good luck with the rest of your studies! The Uni of Students Union is better than Hallam but always good food and normally something happening there. Careers service are usually unhelpful but student wellbeing are amazing.

Our Students Union is built for students and ran by students, I'm glad to hear that you enjoy the food, during non-Covid times the union is ususally a hub of activity! If you ever have any issues with WiFi whilst on campus, IT is on hand to offer support for our students.

Have not been regularly due to covid however the university seemed excellent when we were able. Great university experience so far, the facilities are modern and the union provides a good study space with wide tables and good wifi. It's great that you've enjoyed the students union! Creative arts student. Campus is great. Art department, even better. Living in the city is not too bad. Feel free to take a look at our Sheffield guide to make the most out of your time in Sheffield. The staff are very friendly, the location is good, and there are shops nearby, so it's very convenient to buy food.

Sheffield is a very walkable city. The atmosphere of the Student Union is very good and the work is very orderly. The library facilities are really great, the environment is also very good, and it's very happy to study here. Enjoy the rest of your time at Hallam. Sheffield Hallam is a great university , which offered my course BA Hons Make-up Artistry whereas some universities did not offer this.

From what I have seen the university is very good, and provides all the facilities that are required to be successful, however due to the current circumstances I am unable to review the societes and student union. We know our students have had a different experience on campus and that has affected the student union experience.
